Kellie is the Director of Deadset Studios, an award-winning production house based in Australia.
As a leading media executive, Kellie’s commissioned dozens of radio shows and hit podcasts. She is the founding producer of Australia’s most downloaded podcast Conversations. She then led the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s podcast team, where she drove the creation of more than 30 of the country’s best shows and helped launch the popular ABC listen app.
At Deadset Studios she leads a team that’s created award-winning shows including for The University of Sydney, Dementia Australia, SBS, ABC, UNSW, Shine Lawyers, VicHealth, and ARN Media. Kellie specialises in building innovative teams that create world-class digital content with efficient production processes.
Kellie’s been a board member of 4ZZZ Radio and Q Music, and had advisory roles with Australia Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) and the University of Canberra’s News and Media Research Centre. She is a judge of Australia’s prestigious Walkley Awards for Journalism and was a 2014 fellow of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (Oxford University).
